IconDescriptionIconDescription

This is the GateManager administrator icon. Users with this icon can perform all user administration tasks. For example, an administrator organizes devices (SiteManagers and Agents) and users into sub-domains. They can apply configuration profiles, set alerts and more.  Admins can also create remote connections (for example, to a LinkManager User).

This icon represents device access via web browser from a PC, Tablet or Smartphone. The role can connect and view any SiteManagers or devices (agents) that it has access to.  To use this role with LinkManager, the account must have a LinkManager Mobile License.

This role cannot see and create subdomains. The account operates within the domain where it is placed by an administrator.

This role can only administrate GateManagers with a hosting license installed.  Distributor administrators have the rights of a regular Administrator, with the following extras:

Distributor administrators can define the ”Customer domain” flag for a given sub-domain.

This role provides access to basic administration capabilities. These include creating and administering accounts, upgrading SiteManager firmware and reading audit logs. Basic Administrators can make remote connections like a LinkManager User.

Basic administrators are unable to view and create subdomains. These roles operate within the domain where they are placed.

This role is for users with programming/troubleshooting access to equipment. To make a remote connection with the LinkManager account, a LinkManager floating license must exist in the same domain as the account. This license will be temporarily assigned to the account while connected.

The role is unable to see and create subdomains. It operates within the domain where it is located.

This role is for users with viewing access to accounts, devices, licenses, and reports. These users cannot alter operations in any way. This role is for logistics personnel that need access to auditing.

This role cannot make any changes in a domain.

This role is the owner of the GateManager. The account operates in the root domain of the server. The role can perform the tasks of any other role. It also has exclusive rights to:

Access  GateManager configuration folders (Files, Licenses and Server).

Alter the ”Customer/Distributor domain” flags for a sub-domain,

Enable/disable LogTunnels/Usage Statistics for a Customer domain.

Enable/disable SMS Services for a Customer domain.
