Overview

This article will provide information about the Connect Reason feature. Administrators can activate it on the domain and sub-domain level. This will force the LinkManager user to give a reason for connecting.
Available from Release 9.0

Connect Reason
Now you can force the user to provide a reason when making a connection. This applies to when using a GTA connection like using LinkManager, SiteManager GUI, and GTA buttons like VNC/RDP. As an admin, first set "override" under Domain Settings then Log Connect Reason.

Then all buttons go grey and will not be available until a reason is chosen.

Also possible to write a comment.

Then it will show up in the Audit

Reason and comment are stored in the audit log entry for the connect event.
