SiteManager Bandwidth

This article provides information on the expected bandwidth use that a SiteManager has, and the maximum bandwidth a SiteManager can support.

Idle

When a SiteManager is connected to a GateManager server, but it is not in use, it uses around 20 MB per month. These are the heartbeats that it sends to the GateManager server. You can increase or decrease the number of heartbeats a SiteManager sends.

Theoretical maximum bandwidth

SiteManager 10XX (first edition) expected load speed is 5Mbps

• SiteManager 14XX (first edition, 4 ports model) if only using UPLINK you can expect up to 10Mbps.
• SiteManager 34XX (first edition, 4 ports model) if only using UPLINK you can expect up to 10Mbps.
• SiteManager 11XX/33XX (second edition) expected load speed is 15Mbps.
• SiteManager 15XX/35XX expected load speed is 30Mbps.
