# Sending emails and SMS via S7-300 using Siemens software

This video describes how to send an e-mail via a PLC using Siemens software.

Reports indicate the following from the video:

Sometimes you need to have a pointer to character 2 in the string instead of the string for input to TUSEND. Also, this example only works if you have no junk data at the end of the string.
