Q: Can I retrieve DCM data from the SD-card?
A: No. The SD-Card DCM data storage is only retrievable by the DCM itself.

Q: Can I upgrade my existing Sitemanagers with DCM?
A: Indeed. All SiteManagers actively being sold (11xx / 33xx / 15xx / 35xx) can be upgraded to firmware version 9.0 and higher for DCM capability.
However, the Rockwell collector is only available on (15xx / 35xx)

Q: How do I upgrade my SiteManagers so they support Data Collection?
A: You can find the firmware in GateManager or in the downloads section.

Q: Is there an extra license for the DCM?
A: No, it’s free to use the Data Collection Module, only a Cloud subscription applies.

Q: Can DCM use Modbus over serial connector?
A: Modbus collector is Ethernet-based only.
